Why Do We Roast People
We roast people because we love them!! Is this justification enough? Nah!! We roast because we love to tease, we roast because we feel satisfied, we roast because it makes us laugh and them too, and sometimes we roast out of anger. I remember when I broke up with my boyfriend I was so pissed off that I literally said every possible waggish comment I knew at that time. Guess what? Such a relief!
Everyone loves to be around funny people. When you laugh more often you attract more happy vibes. Not just during breakups but in our day-to-day lives, there are so many moments to roast our loved ones. If you’re not finding the right choice of words, the internet provides you with countless Best Roasts For Friends, Enemies, Ex, and more. It’s not always the praise that gets you in the limelight. Sometimes insults can do the work for you as well.
Are you even best friends if you let your partner do things peacefully? Be a fun company for them, keep disturbing them all the time. After all, being friends gives you all the rights to each other. The friend’s case is understood but why do we Roast people we dislike?
Have you seen Comedy Central roasts? Yeah! That one is where people take the initiative to get roasted in front of so many people around. What makes them do that? I mean who does that to themselves? There can be so many reasons why people love to roast or get roasted by their friends. Let’s take a deeper look at this waffled concept of roasting each other.
Why Do We Roast People
It’s not like that we roast anyone or everyone. We indulge in roasting only with the people we feel comfortable with.
Beginning with our friends, teachers, enemies, and even ex-partners there comes at least one moment in life when we don’t think twice before throwing nasty, funny roasts on them.
Roasting Strengthens Friendship Bonds
“Mirrors Can’t talk. Lucky for you, they can’t laugh either.” As humorous and witty as this statement may sound, it also shows the strength of bonding we have with our friends and loved ones.
The way we talk to our friends speaks a lot about our relationship. Not just with friends but it can be anyone among the family members, neighbors, or even our teachers. It’s a fact that when we are comfortable with someone, we share a different kind of bond with them.
Roasting Brings Humor To Relationships
Who loves the boring vibes in a relationship? I mean one partner talks a lot and the other one is not interested at all.
No one loves to be in such a relationship right? So, what’s the take?
Depending on how understanding your partner is, roasting can bring a spark to the relationship. For example: When your wife says, I haven’t cooked anything for dinner today. ” Instead of getting angry and shouting at her, you can try some witty roasts like “If loving you means being hungry for life, I would love to die for you.”
Hope your partner takes the hint and laughs along. In this way, any relationship, whether it’s marriage, parenthood, or friendship can be kept alive for longer.
Laughing at Ourselves makes Life Easy
What’s the best way to shut down all your fears, hatred, grouchiness, and discomfort? Just laugh at yourself! Yes, it works!
Remember the time when your friends team up together to make fun of how you stammer? Or the time when somebody tells you that you are not good enough to do a certain task? Things would have been much different if you had laughed out on those comments rather than taking them hard on yourself.
See, the trick behind this power therapy is that when we laugh at our own mistakes, it makes it look like we own our mistakes. We are not ashamed to accept our odds.
Our enemies automatically go quiet when we laugh at their jokes cracked on us.
Why do we Roast our enemies?
It happens almost every time that we indulge in a fight with someone but fail to throw some crisp replies back to them. Abusing someone in public goes way beyond morals and that’s why we roast people instead of abusing them. Roasting is not always the use of abusive language. There are a Number of Comments for Boys and Girls that you can post on their Instagram pictures with hints of sarcasm and rage.
Guess what? Roasting someone can be so relaxing sometimes, as you bring out your rage and hatred for them but in a healthy way. But be careful while choosing your words. As the real motive of roasts is just to insult them and not to torture them.
Why do we Roast our teachers?
Ahh!! The most satisfying achievement every student can relate to is roasting our teachers. Damn!! We were tortured so much during our school days.
Why is your uniform not proper? Why are you eating in class? For making us stand outside the class! For not letting us share seats with our friends(lol!), And much more!
It’s probably time to take our revenge! Let’s admit that we all have given funny nicknames to our teachers in the school. “Blondy”, “Freaky Einstein” and similar ones.
That’s a part of roasting our teachers. Labeling someone is roasting. And when it comes to teachers, we love to roast them for all the punishments they enjoyed giving us. We love roasting our teachers for canceling our games period in the name of completing the syllabus, and much more.
To Wrap Up The Roasting Session
Everything is fair in love and war. But let’s just not forget that we are not here to create a war like situation with anyone around. Until and unless we are not harming anybody’s liberty, and self-respect, it’s all well and good. But going ugly in the name of roasting is not an acceptable act at all.
Roasting is for fun and let’s just keep in mind that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So go ahead and tease your minions(friends) the way you like. Let’s laugh it out together!!o libero.
